Our story

In the corner of my grandparents olive farm, there was a shed where I would watch my Jiddo and Teta make soap.

My Jiddo would store his extracted olive oil in that shed and later sell them. On the final squeeze of the olives, he would put the oil aside and use it to make soap.

My Teta would help my Jiddo mix a big pot with the oil and different ingredients for atleast 1 hour. After that, my Jiddo pour the mixture into a wooden mold and level it with a flat piece of wood. The next day he would then cut the big block into small rectangles and then stack them nicely in a pyramid. The room was so dark because he would cover the windows with newspaper.

When my Jiddo passed away, my Teta would let me make soap with her. And everything that I saw my Jiddo do finally started to make sense.
